How we price errands

Our errands are competitively priced.

Prices are on a 'per errand basis'. There are no membership or monthly fees necessary to use our service.

For each errand, there is a minimum charge of £5.00 thereafter; the price depends on the distance/mileage involved, the time it will take to complete your errand and any waiting time associated with the nature of the errand.

If we encounter unplanned delays at the destinations you give us or out of pocket expenses we shall charge you for the extra cost but we will always let you know before we do that.

How we price our courier service

Delivering or collecting items out of the city centre would be billed as a courier service. We try to be very competitive in this area and we charge from 80p per mile. Please provide the pick up and destination postcodes if you would like to be quoted.

Payment

We accept cheques and credit/debit cards.

Credit/debit card payments processed securely via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account in order to use this system, nor is it neccessary to sign up for a PayPal account. Paypal will not add any additional charges to those shown during the checkout process.

PayPal accepts the following major cards: MasterCard, Maestro, VISA, American Express, Solo, Switch, VISA Delta & VISA Electron.

Cancellation Policy

We hope you will be pleased with the service we provide you. Should you wish to cancel an errand you have delegated to us, we will be happy to refund the full cost of the errand provided 24 hours notice is given. Same-day errands are commenced as soon as we receive your instruction.

Cancellation of a same-day errand within 20 minutes of delegating will incur a 50% surcharge. Same day errands cancelled after 20 minutes of delegating to us are not refundable.

If you have paid us a sum of money to buy an item and at the time of canceling we haven’t yet bought it, that sum is fully refundable. Refunds will be made back to the credit card that we charged when you delegated to us. Upon cancellation, if we have already bought items on your behalf, as per your instructions, these charges will not be refundable by VIP Errand Service. In such an instance it will be your duty to return the items to the store unless you give us a new assignment to return the item for you.

None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when services are not as described. None of the above conditions affects the VIP Errand Service Guarantee.

Refunds will reach your account within 7 working days of contacting us. This time may vary depending on the speed with which your credit card company processes credit.

VIP Errand Service Guarantee

We guarantee satisfaction each time we run an errand for you. If we have not followed your instructions to your satisfaction, we will gladly refund the fee for that errand.
